On-site vs. REMOTE Virtual training

for revit and codebook

All BIM training provided by CDV Systems is held either at the client’s "On-Site" location or using our "Virtual Training Center". In both cases, the key to CDV Systems' success with training, since 2005, is to allow the trainer to view all the student’s screens during the class. This layout is ideal because it allows the CDV Specialist to monitor the progress of each student, immediately address questions before they become issues and control the pace of the class as a whole.

There can be up to 10/12 attendees in the class. Each attendee should have his/her own computer which is connected to the office network with read / write capabilities. The CDV Specialist, using their own computer, or one provided by the client, needs the same read / write access to the project files and standards on the client’s network.

Peter Hubley, Quality Assurance & BIM Manager at Eckert Wordell Architects

"I liked the Virtual Training Center. After setting it up the first day, it seemed very simple to get everyone's computer up and running on the training site web-page. I have trained with CDV Systems both on-site and virtually and I like both. I recommend Virtual Training as a great way of learning the basics of Revit without spending all day in training."
