Description

80% of the 14,000 rooms of this new 3.5 million SQ hospital had an assigned CodeBook Room Type.

500+ library template room types included:

room data requirements (architectural, finishes, electrical and mechanical)

door requirements (sizes, observation, fire rating etc.)

fixtures, furniture and equipment list and layouts

CodeBook library room type was mapped to a Revit room and parameters populated

Equipment batch was inserted into the Revit project model rooms using the individual room type layouts defined in the library.

Equipment families were moved, rotated & adjusted as per the needs of each project room using Revit.

After CodeBook library room types were modified as design refined, those changes were auto-updated to Revit, compared and validated.

Reports were generated from CodeBook listing all discrepancies between the required room type values vs. those in the Revit model.
