Testimonials:
Staff Architect, Revit Manager
"This Revit class was great. It met my expectations; we would have never gotten this level of training somewhere else. Working on a practical application helped everyone understand the program on a much deeper level. What I liked best about “Train the Project” was working in an “everyday” mode, which helps users understand the program and solve problems that they might not otherwise encounter in a typical training class. Our instructor was very receptive to adjusting the material to fit our needs. He was great and had an incredible knowledge of the program. He was able to answer all questions and if there were any issues he know where to go to solve them. He made himself available for questions after the training session as well, which is invaluable. I would absolutely recommend this course to others. This 5-day crash course will give your employees all of the running knowledge they need to start a project in Revit. I think it is a vital part of the implementation process."

"The CDV Introductory Revit class was very helpful in preparing me to create models for a better 3d understanding of the project and for creating contract documents form that model. It met my expectations and left me with the ability to use the program on a day to day basis. “Training the Project” was very successful in allowing me to advance the project that I was working on. I thought our instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful in teaching us the general and somewhat specific tools that Revit has to offer. His knowledge of the subject matter was extremely high and his ability to answer questions was very good. I recommend this course because it gave me the necessary knowledge to use the program on a daily basis and produce quality drawings."

"My overall impression of CDV’s class was that it provided comprehensive coverage of the general topics of Revit. Our instructor was clear in his presentation and thorough in his explanations. I think it was the most successful training session I have ever taken. With “training the project” everything I was learning about Revit was not lost in a little crappy house that taught you about the program and you forgot because you had to apply it back to reality. The best part of “training the project” was that the team that was working on the project was all in the training together. Our instructor was very thorough. I feel like he wrote the program; if there was a question, he had an answer. He was extremely patient, particularly to those of us who needed it explained more than once. I would recommend this course to any architectural firm that is going to change to Revit. I have been through too many training sessions that are not as comprehensive as this one, and they just don’t get the job done. Thank you."

"I thought the CDV class was a great way to learn Revit. Our instructor was flexible enough with the ‘curriculum’ to be able to adapt to our specific needs and time schedule. The class met my expectations – I think I learned the basics well enough to be able to know how the program “thinks” and therefore be able to figure out things after our instructor left. What I liked best was about “training the project” was that it addressed issues that we will run into with the project (work groups, central file, etc.) Our instructor was very willing to help and definitely expanded on all of our questions to encompass topics we hadn’t even considered. He was super patient. I think he knew everything we asked him and had good explanations and reasons for the explanation. He was very clear. I would recommend this course to others – training with a project is a much better way to learn than performing meaningless tasks. Our instructor was great and highly recommended – lived up to all expectations!"
